Hill Hike: Barneyer Trailhead, Missoula 5:45p (approx 4 mi roundtrip) This hike is for All abilities, All women+

We are hiking the hills this month with Kathleen Neves, an avid Pacific Northwest day hiker, solo long-distance backpacker, backpacking coach for women and The Hungry Hiker on YouTube. Hear some of her favorite stories of hiking out in the backcountry alone and learn why it’s now her mission to help inspire other women to build up their confidence to plan, prepare, and go on their own solo backpacking adventures.

We’ll be taking the high and wide section of the Barmeyer trail on Mt Dean Stone in Missoula to the overlook. Meet us at the Pattee Canyon Rd parking for the Barmeyer trail at 5:45p, we’ll depart at 6pm. Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged and dogs are welcome.

Please wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and bear spray.
