Rifle Ready

Have you ever wanted to learn to shoot a rifle but didn’t know where to start, or didn’t have anyone to teach you? Or maybe you want to improve your skills and learn more about your rifle. Now is your chance for both! Rifle Ready - rifle instruction for the never-evers, novice, and the experienced gun handler and hunter. Your time on the range includes in-depth instruction on Rifle Handling, Ammunition, Sighting in, Rifle Cleaning and Care, Hunting Regulations, and Effective Shooting Range. Learning these skills will increase your odds of success, and ensure your safety and the safety of others in the field. Space is limited to 16 participants - register TODAY and we'll see you at the range! Location: WMFGA Deer Creek Shooting Center, Missoula, MT Registration is $120 which includes a full day of instruction and mentorship, access to the members only gun range, beverages and light snacks. Equipment: Participants are encouraged to bring their own rifles, ammunition, eye and ear protection or reserve ours by adding the equipment fee. Equipment fee: $30 - includes eye and ear protection, rifle use, ammunition, cleaning supplies and targets. VENERY - where women learn to hunt. We are women teaching all women the skills to be confident, self-reliant, ethical hunters. Our classes, workshops, and camps support women’s education and engagement in all aspects of hunting and wildlife conservation.
