About The Event

For women interested in traditional skills, ethical sourcing, and learning how everyday essentials are made, Venery’s Wild Harvest Soap Class is a great way to build a practical new skill. This class is about understanding the full process—from raw ingredients to finished product—and leaving with the confidence to do it again at home.

In this Wild Harvest Soap Making class, you’ll be guided by Jill and Alex as we walk through harvesting and rendering animal tallow, what soap actually is, how the soap-making process works, choosing fats, and handling lye safely. You’ll use rendered tallow to create three varieties of bar soap and head home with soap to use yourself or share with friends and family.

Doors at 12:45pm. Class at 1:00pm. Space is capped at 20 people.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
