About The Event
Welcome to our first class of 2024. Venery’s Wild Harvest Soap Class is a fantastic way to develop a new skill. Learning the soap process not only allows you to create personalized soaps but also offers an educational experience as you explore the intricacies of soap chemistry. So, if you're looking for hands-on skill development, give our Wild Harvest Soap class a try!
In this Wild Harvest Soap Making class, you'll be guided by Alex and Lindsay. Together we'll discuss how to harvest and render animal tallow. Then dive into what soap is, the soap process, choosing fats, and how to handle lye safely. Finally, we'll provide rendered animal tallow to blend with the right ingredients creating three varieties of bar soap. And, everyone will get to go home with 3 lbs. of soap for themselves or to share with friends and family!
Doors at 5pm. Class at 5:30pm. Space is capped at 18 people.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
