About The Event
One of the first steps in becoming a hunter is completing Hunter Education. Anyone born after January 1, 1985 is required to complete a hunter education course. While you can take the online class at any time, this in-person class offers hands-on skills related to the safe handling of firearms as well as basic instruction in game identification, hunter ethics, and Montana hunting laws and regulations.
This class is open to anyone but geared towards female identifying participants, especially those new to hunting and looking to learn the safety and ethics, and some other tools and advice to help get started as a new hunter.
