From Gear to Field, Learn What Matters

Venery's Waterfowl Camp at Teller Wildlife Refuge offers a unique and immersive experience for women eager to explore the thrilling world of waterfowl hunting.

 

This weekend getaway combines educational sessions and hands-on activities to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful waterfowl adventure.

The weekend includes a full day of educational sessions on duck identification, duck calling, gear, shotgun handling, and duck processing all from our amazing team of female mentors.

Venery's Waterfowl Camp will provide you with all of the knowledge needed to hunt waterfowl!

WE PROVIDE

  • Loaner shotgun

  • Clay targets

  • Practice ammunition for 12 and 20 gauge shotguns

  • Nontoxic shot for hunting

  • Lodging can be arranged onsite for an additional fee


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be eligible to buy a Montana conservation license, state waterfowl license and a federal duck stamp

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Workshop is for women who have hunted waterfowl 5 or less times
